An aerospace component manufacturer based in Braintree are looking for a Junior Quality Control Technician to join their busy team. We are looking for someone who has undertaken a degree or equivalent in mechanical engineering, or aerospace engineering or similar. You will have a methodical and can do approach. This role is to ensure product release is to customer and international regulatory ( EN AS 9100) requirements. Report an quality issues, ensuring the quality management system is adhered to at all stages. The company are paying up to £13.50ph depending on your skill and experience. Working 8am till 4.30pm Monday to Friday. Responsibilities:- Undertake works orders, FAIR, special customer requirement to ensure trace-ability. Investigate any quality issues to identify root cause and raise appropriate corrective action paperwork Product verification – ensure component conformance both dimensional and visually by using inspection equipment including but not exhaustive, CMM, Keyance, shadow graph projector, micrometer and bore micrometers Using an ERP system Check products by sight Managing 5s disciplines Continuous improvementsThis is a temporary to permanent position.
