Our client is a progressive developer and contractor, specialising in eco-friendly city centre developments and timber frame housing projects in South Yorkshire. They are experiencing continued growth and an increase in live sites. To support this expansion, they are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.

This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects that blend sustainability with modern urban development within a reputable organisation committed to excellence and environmental responsibility.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of projects from inception through to completion, ensuring costs are controlled and contractual obligations are met, while maintaining strong client and supplier relationships. Ideally, they are seeking a candidate with main contracting experience due to the manner of how they run their projects, opposed to a traditional housebuilding company.

  8. Supporting project teams with commercial advice and risk assessment
  9. Assisting with tender analysis and procurement strategies

The organisation offers a collaborative working environment, exposure to innovative projects, and opportunities for professional development.
