Overview
Our client is a leading fire protection company providing fire detection and suppression equipment. Due to their continued expansion, Staffbase has been appointed to recruit for the position of Fire Extinguisher and Alarm Engineer.
Responsibilities
- Operate as a field service engineer responsible for planned and reactive maintenance and inspection of fire extinguishers and alarm systems in the East of England.
- Repair and fault find fire suppression and alarm systems.
- Replace failed and faulty devices.
- Replace extinguishers and Fire Safely Ancillary products, emergency signage, etc.
- Upsell and cross-sell Fire Safely Ancillary Products.
- Schedule your own works daily/weekly.
Qualifications
- Experienced Fire Extinguisher or Alarm engineer with at least three years\’ experience.
- BAFE certification for work on fire extinguishers.
- UK Driving licence with a maximum of six penalty points.
- Willingness to train to become a fire alarm and emergency lighting engineer with full training provided.
