Graduate Humanities Teaching Assistant – £100–£110 per day 📍Location: Greenwich (Kidbrooke), SE3 9YY 📅 Start Date: September 2025 | Full-time, Term-Time Only Are you a recent graduate in History, Geography, Politics, or another Humanities subject with a passion for education? A high-achieving and inclusive secondary school in Greenwich (Kidbrooke) is looking for a dedicated Graduate Humanities Teaching Assistant to support its vibrant Humanities department. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring teachers to gain hands-on experience in a classroom setting ahead of pursuing a PGCE or teacher training program. 🗺️ Role Overview: Support teaching across Humanities subjects (History, Geography, RE, Politics, etc.) Provide 1:1 and small group support to students who need additional help Assist with lesson preparation, classroom activities, and resource creation Help foster a love of learning and critical thinking in young minds Contribute to a positive and engaging learning environment ✅ Candidate Requirements: A 2:1 or above in a Humanities-related degree Passion for education and subject knowledge in at least one Humanities discipline Strong communication and interpersonal skills Previous experience working with young people (preferred but not essential) 💷 What’s on Offer: Daily pay of £100–£110 Excellent classroom experience for future teacher training Opportunity to work in a supportive and forward-thinking school Professional development and mentoring from experienced staff Ready to take the first step towards a career in education?
