Team Leader – Electrical Engineer (On Call) Location: Knottingley Salary: Circa £47,000 + Additional On Call Pay Hours: 40 per week | Days | 1 in 4 Weeks On Call Are you a hands-on Electrical Engineer with strong leadership skills looking to step into a Team Leader role while staying on the tools? Competitive salary circa £47,000 Additional pay for on-call duties Clear path for career development within a growing and sustainable industry Be part of a forward-thinking business committed to safety, quality, and innovation Your Key Responsibilities: Lead, support and coordinate the daily activities of the electrical maintenance team Act as the go-to person for technical escalation, guidance and prioritisation Remain fully hands-on, conducting electrical maintenance and fault-finding across machinery, conveyors and production equipment Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with company H&S procedures Support ongoing improvements, installations and projects across the site Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities Take part in the on-call rota About You: Time-served electrical engineer (apprenticeship or equivalent) Strong background in electrical maintenance in a manufacturing/industrial environment Experience supervising or mentoring others (or ready for your first step into leadership!) Solid knowledge of fault-finding, PPMS, 415v 3-phase, motors, VSDs, and basic PLCs Confident communicator who can motivate others and lead by example Proactive, organised and solution-focused with a strong safety mindset What’s in It for You?
