What You’ll Be Doing As a Functional Skills Tutor, you will: * Deliver engaging and effective teaching in Maths and English Functional Skills up to Level 2. * Support learner engagement strategies to ensure targets and KPIs are met. * Challenge and inspire students to think critically, develop their confidence, and achieve results. * Mark, assess, and provide meaningful feedback that drives learner progress. * Contribute to curriculum design and ensure compliance with Ofsted and company quality standards. * Provide learners with Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) throughout their learning journey. * Collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure learners are fully supported and set up for success. What We’re Looking For We are looking for someone who: * Holds (or is willing to work towards) a recognised teaching qualification. * Holds Maths and English at Level 2 or above. * Has excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. * Brings industry knowledge and a learner-focused approach to teaching. * Is inclusive, adaptable, and committed to supporting learners of all abilities. It would be a bonus if you: * Have experience with e-portfolios (ideally OneFile). * Hold or are working towards an IAG Level 2 qualification. * Have experience of Ofsted inspections.
