Regional HGV HIAB & Tanker Driver (Modular Cabins) – *BONUS SCHEME* – Southampton – E5629
Salary: £46,800.00 per annum / £20.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 45 GUARANTEED hours per week
Overtime: Over 45 hours, paid at time and a half.
PERSONAL FUEL PAID TO SITE
Working predominantly within one of our six regions, you will be utilised to cover any vacancies, holiday, training, etc. of our branch lorry loader and tanker drivers. This is a varied role that will require nights away and weekend travel, depending on appointment.

We’re offering a fantastic non-contractual bonus for all new Drivers – just for staying with us!
If you join partway through, you’ll still get a pro-rated bonus – the earlier you start, the more you’ll earn!
Example – Start Date & Bonus:
- Start in July – £1,000 total bonus (£500 paid in January, £500 paid in July 2026)
- Start in August – £920 bonus (£420 paid in January, £500 paid in July 2026)
- Start in September – £830 bonus (£330 paid in January, £500 paid in July 2026)
- Start in October – £750 bonus (£250 paid in January, £500 paid in July 2026)
- Start in November – £660 bonus (£160 paid in January, £500 paid in July 2026)
- Start in December – £580 bonus (£80 paid in January, £500 paid in July 2026)
PURPOSE
As a Logistics Relief Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our fleet maintains full utilisation, transporting our modular structures, and temporary storage & accommodation units on one of our fleet of over 70 lorry loader cranes. You will also be required to work within our Tanker team servicing our customer’s welfare requirements.

Responsibilities within your team
- Deliver our products and services to our customers on time, in full (OTIF), effectively reporting any issues as they arise.
- Adhere to planned routes / movement orders.
- Optimise loading and unloading times to ensure all work is completed.
- Ensure any requirements for moving abnormal loads are always met.
- Operate a lorry loader crane in varying environments and conditions.
- Work within our Tanker team executing customer service calls.
- Complete the relevant safety checks on the vehicle and equipment you’ve been allocated, reporting any issues immediately, ensuring fleet and safety compliance.
- Adhere to EU driving hours and Working Times Regulations (WTD) at all times, targeting zero infringements.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
- Valid Class 1 HGV Driving Licence, with DCPC preferred, Class 2 considered with at least 1 years’ experience.
- Previous experience in operating a lorry loader crane from 31 tonne and above/up to 66 tonnes.
- Previous experience operating a wagon and drag combination.
- Previous tanker / waste management experience, desired, but not essential, as training will be provided.
- CPCS and/or ALLMI lorry loader operator qualification
- Demonstrate flexibility, as appointments may require you to be away from home throughout the working week, driving all types of vehicles at any of our locations. These appointments may change with limited notice, in line with business or operational needs.
