Our client, a fast-growing, innovative company specializing in the development and production of next-generation lithium-sulfur batteries is currently looking to hire a Battery Engineer. The successful candidate will oversee and enhance the processes behind pouch cell fabrication. The Battery Engineer will: Analyse manufacturing challenges, implement solutions, and introduce new techniques or technologies as needed. Develop, refine, and implement manufacturing processes for pouch cell fabrication process to improve efficiency, yield, and quality. Act as a technical lead, mentoring technicians and junior staff while supporting the CTO with day-to-day operations. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, quality assurance, and production, to align technical operations with company goals. Ensure that all manufacturing activities comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and internal protocols. The Battery Engineer will have: A degree in Science, Engineering, Materials or a related field is preferred. Demonstrated experience in pouch cell fabrication within industry or academia is required. A strong understanding of lithium battery manufacturing processes. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse complex processes and identify improvements. Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
