About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our Building Division and support an exciting building development.
The ideal candidate will have excellent commercial acumen, a proven track record in delivering sound building schemes, and be well-versed in NEC/JCT contract administration. MRICS qualification is desirable but not essential; a degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying is mandatory. A full driving license is also required.
– Establishing the project budget and ensuring detailed cost reporting.
– Reviewing main contract and subcontract terms.
– Procuring subcontract packages and compiling tender documentation.
– Reporting on costs and forecasting.
– Administering contracts and handling contractual correspondence.
– Liaising with the employer\’s team on commercial matters.
– Managing staff resources effectively.
– Conducting delay analysis and preparing claims.
– Managing subcontract issues and variations.
– Forecasting cash flow and preparing budgets.
– Participating in progress and commercial meetings.
