Technical Administrator – Commercial Team – Devizes, SN10 2AZ, United Kingdom
As our Technical Administrator you’ll be providing effective administration support to the Commercial Team, including the Head of Supply Chain Management and our Commercial Director.
The Commercial Team also includes our Quantity Surveyors as well as colleagues who have responsibility for our Supply Chain management and Systems and Projects within the commercial environment.
You’ll provide high quality administrative support to the team including organising team meetings, minute taking, keeping the team up to date via document distribution, electronic filing and other general administrative tasks.
You will assist the team with the collection of project data, including housing management and financial information. You’ll ensure that project entries are kept up to date and you’ll assist in the monitoring of reporting.
The team will involve you in the collation of data for their monthly and quarterly reports.
About you
You’ll be educated to GCSE level, with passes in English and Maths. As you’ve guessed, you’ll be working with IT, so you’ll be a confident user of IT, including the Microsoft suite. You’ll also be working with bespoke systems and processes, so being able to pick up new systems and tasks will come naturally to you.
You’ll see yourself as a strong administrator bringing to the role skills that you’ve developed over time to ensure a smooth and effective administrative service.
You’ll be communicating with external organisations and colleagues, so being a strong communicator and being able to deliver messages verbally and in writing is essential.
This role can be carried out in the office or at home whichever suits you. You’ll find great support from colleagues so being able to build strong working relationships will really support you in the role. You’ll likely be attending our offices at least twice a month so being happy to travel within our operating region is important.
Our operating region includes, Hampshire, Wiltshire, Somerset, Dorset, Devon, Cornwall and London.
