An opportunity has arisen for a Legal Secretary to join a well-established law firm offering clear, practical legal advice across areas including personal injury, family law, employment, and clinical negligence.
As a Legal Secretary, you will provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support within a busy personal injury team, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the office.
This full-time permanent role offers a salary range of £24,000 – £26,000 and benefits.
You will be responsible for:
- Acting as the first point of contact for clients and visitors
- Handling inbound calls and general front-of-house duties
- Producing legal documentation through audio and copy typing
- Supporting fee earners with a range of administrative tasks
- Managing filing, scanning, and document organisation
- Processing incoming and outgoing correspondence
What we are looking for:
- Previously worked as a Legal Secretary, Legal Administrator, Legal Assistant, Legal Clerk or in a similar role.
- Proven experience of 2 years working in a law firm
- Strong audio typing capability
- Confident user of Microsoft Word and Excel
- A professional, approachable, and client-focused manner
