About The Role

As a Lecturer in Law at the Leicester Law School you will be required to make a significant contribution to the delivery of our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes depending on your areas of expertise and experience. We are interested in applications from candidates in all areas of Law but the ability to teach one or more of the following undergraduate modules would be advantageous:

  • Criminal Law, and/or
  • Land Law, and/or
  • Equity & Trusts, and/or
  • Law of Evidence, and/or
  • Family Law, and/or
  • Intellectual Property Law, and/or
  • Business Law-related modules, and/or
  • Law & Artificial Intelligence / Law & Technology
  • Employment Law

The Law School has excellent relationships with legal communities and research groups in the UK and overseas, and you will be expected to contribute to the development and enhancement of relationships with external parties to support the student experience and the impact of research at Leicester University.

You will be an enthusiastic, friendly and exceptionally talented academic with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be committed to the delivery of world-leading research and the provision of an excellent student experience.

You will enrich our student experience through your subject knowledge and commitment to excellent teaching. You will be able to teach on our Law programmes and contribute to the research and knowledge-exchange activities of the Law School and wider University.
