This position is in Cargill’s food and bioindustrialbusiness, where manufacturers, retailers, and foodservice companies rely on us to consistently deliver the products and services they need, and use our technical expertise and market knowledge to develop innovative products.

About The Role

To work as part of the manufacturing team to ensure that all transport is loaded in accordance with company policy, aligned with best practice & employing continuous improvement principles in all areas of the role.

Key Accountabilities

  • To ensure correct offloading of ingredients & loading of final products for customer delivery using production management system online (IT package: Savigent) & aligning with PCS7 automation system in line with standard processes & procedures
  • Carry out all process checks in the field and record on internal spreadsheets ensuring all in line with standard processes & procedures & in line with food safety, safety and quality requirements, raising any issues & taking corrective actions
  • Ensure all cleaning duties are carried and operate a clean as you go policy complying with safety, food safety requirements
  • Participate in EHS and Food Safety activities on site (Audits, safety observations & reporting)
  • Report all maintenance issues in the maintenance management system

Minimum Required Qualifications

  • Aptitude for effective use of production software
  • Competent in excel entry & other basic software
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team & to take accountability for areas of responsibility
  • Ability to work in a busy manufacturing environment, dealing with multiple tasks simultaneously, able to prioritise those tasks calmly
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Must have effective communication skills, be proactive, self-motivated, and flexible.
  • Good problem solving skills.
