Stock Operative – Menswear (PT & FT)
Job Introduction
As a Retail Stock Operative, you will be responsible for managing stock in your department, from unpacking deliveries (new and replenished lines) to completing audits and maintaining the stock room. You will ensure stock availability and accessibility, supporting retail teams to create a welcoming customer experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Unpacking daily deliveries, stocking the sales floor and stockroom.
- Replenishing stock as needed, ensuring new stock is on the floor pre-open.
- Maintaining stockroom standards for easy stock retrieval.
- Receiving, dispatching, and processing deliveries and transfers, with knowledge of ISIM and Retek systems.
- Following processes for faulty, sold as seen, stock on loan, refunds, repairs, and RGA to minimize stock loss.
- Managing holds for customers and team members appropriately.
- Preparing for biannual stock audits and supporting investigations post-stock take.
- Conducting mini audits as required.
- Ensuring health and safety compliance, keeping fire exits clear, and maintaining stockroom standards.
