Salary: £18.00 per Hour days overtime after 10 hours

Our Client is a family-owned Waste & Recycling business based in Great Blakenham, just 5 miles from Ipswich.
Job Overview
They are recruiting for an experienced and reliable HGV Class 1 Driver to support their growing customer base. This is a hands-on role, with day-to-day duties including:
- Bulk collections of baled and loose waste using walking floor trailers
- Performing daily vehicle inspections and defect reporting
- Ensuring compliance with tachograph legislation & WTD
- Maintaining health & safety standards
- Completing digital documentation using tablet devices (training provided)
- Delivering excellent service to both internal and external customers
- Keeping your vehicle clean and presentable
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 HGV Licence (C+E)
- Valid Driver CPC and Tacho Card
- Max 6 points (No DD, DR, or IN convictions)
- Fluent in English
- Minimum 1 years experience driving Class 1 vehicles
- Comfortable with early starts (from 04:30) and flexible finish times (up to 18:30)
- Located within 20 minutes of the site and have your own transport
- Supportive, professional working environment
