Progress Teachers are seeking experienced Learning Support Assistants to join a Leicester mainstream secondary school. The successful candidate will work closely with a designated group of pupils, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and achieve both academic and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day support for class teachers and the SENDCO.
- Uphold the school s policies, values, and ethos.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm while promoting high expectations for pupils.
- Deliver targeted support to students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
- Take part in CPD sessions to enhance professional skills for supporting students with diverse SEN or SEMH needs.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with pupils, demonstrating resilience and commitment.
- Support the physical, social, and emotional wellbeing of students.
