An exciting position has arisen for an Associate Scientist to join a leading biopharmaceutical company based in the Berkshire. As the Associate Scientist, you will be responsible for contributing to the development of downstream processes for the recovery and purification of antibody-based therapeutics.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
Your duties as the Associate Scientist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
- Undertake purification process development experiments for fundamental understanding of individual unit operations.
- Assist with the evaluation of new bioprocess purification technologies.
- Identify and utilise appropriate analytical techniques.
- Demonstrate ability to analyse data, with good attention to detail, and effectively communicate findings to a multi-disciplinary team.
Role Requirements
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Associate Scientist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
- Relevant degree in a related field such as Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a similar discipline.
- Proven industry experience in antibody and protein purification.
- A working knowledge and practical experience with chromatography, automated systems, and ultrafiltration.
