Responsibilities:

  • Gauge the bottles to ensure they meet specifications according to the Company Quality Manual.
  • Perform hourly visual inspections to detect defects and minimize losses.
  • Communicate with the hot end via verbal communication and APS, report occurrences in APS for accurate record-keeping.
  • Conduct tests on pressure, coating, and weight regularly to ensure quality standards are maintained.
  • Monitor cold end equipment performance directly and via PIC and APS, responding to changes to prevent quality or efficiency issues.
  • Report equipment malfunctions promptly, assist during and after job changes to ensure smooth operations.

Required skills / qualifications:

  • Knowledge of defect terminology, specifications, and processes.
  • Understanding of work instructions, procedures, and inspection equipment.
  • Experience with Manual and Automatic Inspection, Packaging, and Rework.
  • Familiarity with the Company Quality Plan specifications and quality control procedures.

Competitive salary based on Grade 5 of the harmonised pay scales; Salary min Β£37,000 Max Β£39,193 (inclusive of shift allowance)
