Responsibilities:
- Gauge the bottles to ensure they meet specifications according to the Company Quality Manual.
- Perform hourly visual inspections to detect defects and minimize losses.
- Communicate with the hot end via verbal communication and APS, report occurrences in APS for accurate record-keeping.
- Conduct tests on pressure, coating, and weight regularly to ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Monitor cold end equipment performance directly and via PIC and APS, responding to changes to prevent quality or efficiency issues.
- Report equipment malfunctions promptly, assist during and after job changes to ensure smooth operations.
Required skills / qualifications:
- Knowledge of defect terminology, specifications, and processes.
- Understanding of work instructions, procedures, and inspection equipment.
- Experience with Manual and Automatic Inspection, Packaging, and Rework.
- Familiarity with the Company Quality Plan specifications and quality control procedures.

Competitive salary based on Grade 5 of the harmonised pay scales; Salary min £37,000 Max £39,193 (inclusive of shift allowance)
