Overview: We are currently seeking a highly skilled Locum Sonographer to support our imaging department with a full range of ultrasound services. This flexible opportunity is ideal for professionals who specialise in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and are looking for a rewarding role with competitive hourly pay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a broad spectrum of ultrasound examinations, including general, abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, and gynaecological scans
- Deliver precise and timely diagnostic reports to referring clinicians
- Uphold patient safety, comfort, and dignity throughout the scan process
- Adhere to departmental protocols and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
- Contribute to collaborative care within a multidisciplinary setting
- Remain engaged with CPD and current best practices
Essential Requirements:
- Accredited qualification in diagnostic ultrasound
- HCPC registration (or equivalent)
