Production Operative

Overview

We are looking for Production Operatives for our client\’s busy animal feeds production plant near Banbury, Oxfordshire. The role involves working within the production environment with raw materials (goods in) and finished products (goods out). You will be trained to understand and run the production process, use a tele-handler and forklift, complete quality control checks and operate the Company\’s production computer system, as well as other duties such as maintenance and cleaning of the production plant and weighing operations.

Responsibilities

• Work within the production environment dealing with raw materials and finished products
• Learn and run the production process, use tele-handler and forklift
• Complete quality control checks and follow the Company Quality and Health & Safety systems
• Maintenance and cleaning of the production plant; operate the Company\\\’s weighbridge and production computer system

Salary and Benefits

• £29,515 per annum basic (before allowances, bonuses and overtime)
• Expected earnings – £33,935 including bonus + anticipated overtime

About You / Requirements

• Computer literate
• FLT / loading shovel licence required, although training can be given
• Must be authorised to work in the UK
• Own transport due to location

Working Hours

• Normal production shifts: 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am
• When required: three 12-hour shifts followed by one 8-hour shift
