Once Upon A Time is a full-service creative agency with offices in London, LA and New York. The Soho (London) Content division produces high quality video content for the film and TV industry including filmed BTS and EPKs, creative content shoots, press junkets, Q+As and red-carpet coverage. We are a multi award-winning team with a busy production unit as well as an inhouse post-production facility with five edit suits and a fully integrated Post team. Our work can be found daily – on air and online, all over the world.
Job Requirements:
We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our busy team. The Post Production Junkets Assistant will work within the Post-Production team and alongside our Junkets team. This role will be working on and coordinating the post production needs of press junket interviews. Although there are some essential skills needed for this role, we are open to training someone up to fulfil the potential of this position.
Day-to-Day Duties include (but are not limited to):
- Booking the freelancers to assist.
- Setting up systems ahead of time.
- Liaising with Production for background assets.
- Setting up server space for the junket, ensuring all assets are in place and that sufficient storage is available.
- Preparing necessary machines and workspace in the office.
- Clearing and providing hard drives to PAs for the junket.
On the day:
- Coordinating with Producers and PAs throughout the day.
- Ingesting footage as it arrives at the office, quickly and accurately.
- Organising footage on the server within the designated project space.
- Responding to and acting on time-sensitive requests throughout the day.
Editing responsibilities:
● Editing junket footage as needed, either working with a freelance team or
independently.
● Quality-controlling all exported files and junket cloud files, either with the freelance QC person or solo.
● Uploading final, QC’d files to the correct destination (Junketcloud or MAB).
● Distributing final links to the Producer/PA.
Essential skills and experience:
● Strong ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines, while managing multiple requests and maintaining accuracy.
● Exceptional organisational skills, especially around tracking assets and file management.
● Excellent attention to detail across all stages of the process.
● Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in high-pressure environments.
● Solid understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Premiere Pro and Media Encoder.
● Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
● Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
● Technical mindset.
● Experience in BTS/EPK/Press Junkets work is a plus.
● Experience of photoshop is also a bonus.
● Experience working on high-profile projects.
● Experience working in a team.

This position is full-time and office based. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic for the industry and keen to grow. We are a small, busy team and the role requires someone who is a team player, organised and efficient. There is no specific required education for this role as long as the above list of essential skills are met. We ask that the chosen candidate is flexible and willing to sometimes work long hours including weekends. It is also important that this individual maintains a high level of professionalism when working and can respond to busy situations with a keen enthusiasm.
