We are looking to welcome a skilled general maintenance personto ensurethe facilities in our converted Manor House care home near Romseyare kept in top shape.
The role is a perfect full-time role at 40 hours a week. The schedule is Monday – Friday, with occasional call-outs on weekends for unforeseen emergencies.
The role pays £16.56an hour and covers a range of tasks including:
Equipment repairs and servicing (vacuum cleaners, wheelchairs etc.)
Minor electrical works – replacing light fittings etc.
Repairs and improvements to equipment and facilities
Plumbing repairs, leaks, blockages, installing new sanitary ware, etc.
Installing & repairing fixtures and fittings (curtain tracks, door furniture etc.)
Painting and decorating.
In addition to being a hands-on role, you\’ll be responsible for ensuring our building is compliant with all necessary Health & Safety checks and audits, so your organisational and administrative skills willbe excellent too.
You\’ll work closely with the home management, care teams and residents, so as well asbeing a good administrator, and an excellent practical person you\’ll enjoy being around people and working as part of a team.
