We are looking for a qualified teacher with QTS to cover a maternity leave position starting in July, working within a mental health hospital school setting. This is a full-time role (5 days per week) based primarily in Merton

The ideal candidate will be confident, adaptable, and experienced, with a strong presence and a genuine passion for supporting young people with complex needs.

You will be:

  • Teaching KS3 General Science (Chemistry focus) and PSHE
  • Providing additional support in English
  • Supporting 1:1 sessions on the ward (always with another staff member)
  • Able to offer additional subject areas (highly desirable)
