Senior Care Assistant (Nights)

£1000 Welcome Bonus
Night Senior Care Assistant
Pay: £13.85 per hour + Overtime paid at £15.35 per hour. Annual salary: £27,727.70 per annum (base) / up to £30,248.40 with paid breaks. Hours: 8pm-8am or 8am-8pm, two-week rolling rota.
- Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
- Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
About the Role
As a Senior Care Assistant you will oversee and guide the care team, ensure high standards of care, and support residents through their daily routines. You will be responsible for administering medication, observing changes in residents’ conditions, and directing appropriate care.
Experience Required
- Proven leadership experience in an elderly care or dementia care setting.
- Experience providing care within a care home.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding vulnerable adults’ policies and procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments and create or update care plans to reflect residents’ needs and preferences.
- Follow professional standards and adhere to company policies, procedures and regulations set by the Care Quality Commission.
