About The Role
As a Customer Delivery Driver you’ll deliver quality Waitrose produce right to customers’ doors while supporting the shop team with daily tasks such as stock replenishment and housekeeping. The role is available to individuals aged 18 or older.
Key Responsibilities
- Check delivery routes for the day.
- Load and prepare the van for deliveries, ensuring orders are grouped for efficient delivery.
- Perform vehicle safety checks and maintain road compliance, health and safety standards.
- Represent the Waitrose brand on the road with excellent customer service.
- Assist customers with their shopping and build rapport based on trust and service.
- Support the shop team with general shopkeeping tasks when required.
Essential skills/experience you\’ll need
- Full valid B‑Category UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 points.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Good time‑management skills.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role (e.g., lifting crates, moving cages).
- Comfortable working independently with a self‑motivated and adaptable approach.
- Basic IT literacy.
