The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Legal Assistant to join their friendly Commercial team in Hailsham.

You may be looking to take your first steps into a Legal position, or you may already have experience.

Key Responsibilities

The Commercial/Corporate Legal Assistant will provide direct support to the Practitioner, for example by:

  • Assisting clients both in person and by telephone, providing support in a professional and friendly manner;
  • Making appointments, arranging meetings and diary management for the Practitioner;
  • Providing support and guidance to other members of the team and wider team;
  • Preparing correspondence and documents including audio-typing;
  • File management;
  • Preparing mail and enclosures for despatch;
  • Arranging for all copying to be completed;
  • Securing the confidentiality and security of the firm\’s client documentation and information;
  • Committing time to training and self-development.
