About The Role

As a Lecturer in Law at the Leicester Law School, you will be required to make a significant contribution to the delivery of our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, depending on your areas of expertise and experience. We are interested in applications from candidates in all areas of Law, but the ability to teach one or more of the following undergraduate modules would be advantageous:

  • Criminal Law
  • Land Law
  • Equity & Trusts
  • Law of Evidence
  • Family Law
  • Intellectual Property Law
  • Business Law-related modules
  • Law & Artificial Intelligence / Law & Technology
  • Employment Law

You will be expected to contribute to the research activities of one of our Research Centres or Clusters and to make a strong submission to the next Research Excellence Framework (REF2029). You will benefit from a generous research allowance of 40% of your time.

The Law School has excellent relationships with legal communities and research groups in the UK and overseas, and you will be expected to contribute to the development and enhancement of relationships with external parties to support the student experience and the impact of research at Leicester University.
