Working hours: This role is available on a part-time, job-share or full-time basis.

Location: Cardiff, Hybrid. Although we are flexible on where you are based as long as you are happy to come to Cardiff office at least twice a week.

Salary: £25,000 to £30,000 depending on experience, plus excellent benefits

We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Broker Telephone Account Manager.

Key responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers over the phone.
  • Provide exceptional service and support to brokers, addressing their inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by understanding broker needs and offering suitable insurance solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and policy administration.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with brokers to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, products, and competitors to provide valuable insights to brokers.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on account activity, sales performance, and market trends.

Your skills and experience:

  • Previous experience in the Insurance industry preferrable but not essential.
  • Ideally an understanding of insurance products and services either with an insurance company or via an intermediary.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships over the phone.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
