Fort Garry Industries has an exciting opportunity for a Parts Counter Sales Representative to join our team at our Chatham location.
What YouWill Do
- As an industry expert, you will sell aftermarket heavy-duty parts tocustomers and build long-lasting customer relationships
- Optimize each transaction by advising on products, product applications, returns, warranty claims, and specialorders to meet all customer needs
- Answer customer questions about products, prices, availability, product catalogues, and features
- Assist with cash and/or national accounts
- Followcompany procedures for sales pricing, processing approved credits, invoicing, and freight billing for customers and/or product defects
- Complete onlinetraining as needed and champion brand lines or products
- Uphold and embody FGI Customer Service Standards and Core Values with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders
- Champion FGI\’s safety culture by performing all duties within established procedures and practices
- May beassigned special projects
- Maydeliver parts to customers with a company vehicle
- May operatea forklift within the branch
- Otherduties as assigned
What We Require:
- High school diploma or other high school equivalence certificate
- 1-5 years of experience selling heavy-duty parts preferred and/orknowledge of HD trucks or the agricultural industry
- MUST beable to meetthe physical requirements: Able to lift parts upwards of 50 -75 lbs., use ladders atvarying heights, frequently walk in a large warehouse
- Demonstrated excellentcustomer service skills β dedicated to exceeding the expectations of internaland external customers.
- Strong written and verbalskills β ability to write and speak succinctly with customers and colleagues.
- Basic to proficient knowledge of Microsoft OfficeSuite (email, Word, Excel) and ability to learn in-house systems.
- Completion of a parts technician trades program is an asset
- Proficiency with multiple languages an asset
