Duties:
- Responsible for managing an Industries and Activities Hub, leading a team of Instructors, and overseeing the design and continuous improvement of programmes aimed at assisting the unemployed into the workforce.
- Ensure all programmes meet industry standards, safety regulations, and provide valuable opportunities for participants.
- Collaborate with delivery staff to embed learning into industrial work experience (e.g., Cleaning / Production / Manufacturing).
- Handle procurement and maintenance of equipment and materials.
- Monitor budgets effectively.
- Ensure learners are allocated to programmes that match their skills and aspirations.
- Monitor programme performance regarding participation, progress, and outcomes; use data to inform decisions and promote continuous improvement.
- Stay informed about vocational training trends, technological advancements, and sustainable practices.
Essential Criteria:
- Experience in a management role within the training industry.
- Experience in performance management and staff development.
- Experience developing and implementing improvement plans.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.
- Relevant degree in Education, Business Management, or similar (or willingness to work towards).
- Willingness to obtain or hold IOSH Level 3 certification.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
