Pay rate: Β£12.60 Per Hour (including paid breaks)

Join Our Retail Team! Our shops at COOK play active roles in the communities they serve, thanks to the warmth, knowledge, and care of our Retail Team. We are looking for remarkable individuals to join us, hosting customers in the shop as they would at home.

The Role

  • Provide exceptional service, prioritizing the customer above all else.
  • Assist customers with menu planning and catering advice, and promote upcoming offers and products.
  • Maintain shop cleanliness, ensure stock is replenished and rotated, and keep freezers full.
  • Operate the till efficiently and accurately.
  • Understand shop paperwork and legal checks.
  • Open and close the shop, including cashing up.
  • Check deliveries, assist with stock taking, and place orders as needed.
  • Maintain a smart appearance with apron and name badge at all times.

If you\’re a foodie, great! We will train you on our products, their origins, and suitable dishes for various occasions. Experience is not necessary, but retail or customer-facing experience is a plus.
