Situated in a Grade II‑listed manor built in 1705, Babington House is surrounded by 18 acres of English countryside in the heart of Somerset. Just 30 minutes from Bath, it offers 33 bedrooms across historic buildings, cabins, and lodges, with a formal dining space in the Orangery, sporting facilities, a gym, and the original Cowshed Spa.
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, ensuring high standard of presentation.
- Deliver guest requests promptly and courteously.
- Assist with linen, housekeeping pantries, and mini‑bars.
- Arrange room and furniture for guest arrivals in a timely manner.
- Prepare the hotel areas to be clean and neatly presented.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping is beneficial.
- Team player with strong communication skills.
- Punctual, reliable and trustworthy.
- Sense of urgency and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
- Flexible to work opening and closing shifts, evenings, weekends and holidays.
