The Role
We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible Junior School Support Assistant to support teaching staff and pupils from August 2025 to June 2026. The role is 16 hours per week, term-time only, Wednesday to Friday, 7.30am-12.45pm.
This position offers an opportunity to gain experience working with children, ideal for those considering a future in teaching or childcare.

The Ideal Candidate
Candidates should ideally be eligible for registration with the SSSC, but willingness to undertake registration is essential if not currently registered.
Additional Information: Heriot’s is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults under the PVG scheme, and successful candidates will need to obtain PVG membership.
Please note that parking is not available on campus.
