We\’re Hiring: Financial Accountant – Leeds (Hybrid)
An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Financial Accountant to join a growing, forward-thinking team based in Leeds. This is a great role for someone looking to step into a dynamic environment where your contributions truly matter.
About the Role
You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality accounting processes, improving management reporting, and supporting financial operations across global centres. You’ll be hands-on with month-end routines, audits, statutory reporting, and process improvements. This is a broad and varied role with genuine exposure to interesting project work.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of accurate monthly/quarterly management accounts
- Support with year-end and external audits
- Delivering balance sheet reconciliations and VAT returns
- Input and preparation of monthly journals
- Assist with reporting and analysis across UK and international entities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial controls and insight
About You
- Newly qualified or part-qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- Strong accounting skills with hands-on experience in a similar role
- Proactive, analytical and detail-oriented with a desire to improve processes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Confident Excel user with experience of using complex accounting systems
