Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are currently working with a successful client in the Langar area of Nottingham (NG13) that is rapidly expanding to recruit a number of Warehouse Operatives. This is a temporary to permanent position and the client is looking to also train you on a FLT once you have finished your probationary period.

You must have your own transport as there are no public transport links to this location!

Our client is a long established, family run company situated just outside Nottingham in Langar area. The combination of high quality, keenly priced products and traditional values lies at the heart of our clients success and we take pride in delivering a professional, super-efficient, yet friendly service to all of our customers. They are expanding and due to their success will be opening more warehouses and stores overseas.

Warehouse Operative – Highlights and Benefits:

  • £12.21 per hour starting salary
  • On the job training given
  • Weekly pay whilst with the agency
  • Overtime available at a premium rate
  • Temporary to permanent placement for the right candidate
  • 09:30am – 18:00pm Monday to Friday

Warehouse Operative – Duties include:

  • Heavy Lifting can be included up to 30kgs
  • Cutting items down to size
  • Experience using a handsaw and small hand tools would be beneficial
  • Quality checking
  • Loading the vans ready to be sent out for delivery
  • Filling out paperwork
  • Packing
  • Other General Warehouse Duties

Warehouse Operative – What we need from you:

  • A can do positive attitude to work
  • Happy with elements of heavy lifting
  • You MUST have your own transport as there are no public transport links
  • Woodwork experience would be beneficial however not essential
  • Experience using a handsaw and small hand tools would be beneficial
