We are recruiting for our client at their Bradford manufacturing site for skilled or semi-skilled Bench hand joiners.
Responsibilities:
- Work as part of a small team of joiners, following the direction of the dept supervisor and/or production manager. Ability to work as part of a team required.
- Experienced in joinery and using hand tools
- Manufacture and assemble timber and metal parts
- Work accurately and to deadlines
- Willingness to work overtime as and when required
- Collaborate with other internal departments
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a skilled or semi-skilled joiner
- Proficient in using hand and power tools
- Knowledge of different types of wood and substrates and their characteristics
- Experience of laminating woods
- Strong attention to detail and precision in measurements and cuts
- Physical stamina for lifting
