We are recruiting for our client at their Bradford manufacturing site for skilled or semi-skilled Bench hand joiners.

Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of a small team of joiners, following the direction of the dept supervisor and/or production manager. Ability to work as part of a team required.
  • Experienced in joinery and using hand tools
  • Manufacture and assemble timber and metal parts
  • Work accurately and to deadlines
  • Willingness to work overtime as and when required
  • Collaborate with other internal departments
  • Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a skilled or semi-skilled joiner
  • Proficient in using hand and power tools
  • Knowledge of different types of wood and substrates and their characteristics
  • Experience of laminating woods
  • Strong attention to detail and precision in measurements and cuts
  • Physical stamina for lifting
