Position Overview
Are you a passionate gamer with a background in research? SEGA is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Research Executive to join our Consumer Insights team based in London. This role is crucial in helping SEGA’s global publishing and development teams make informed, data-driven decisions through well-designed research initiatives.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with both quantitative and qualitative research methods, including custom survey design and syndicated data platforms. This role requires a confident and passionate researcher with a keen interest in various methodologies, capable of managing research projects from design to analysis and reporting insights to stakeholders across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the design and execution of custom research projects: assist in conducting ad hoc research, designing surveys, screeners, discussion guides, testing stimuli, liaising with external providers and internal stakeholders, analysis, and reporting.
- Manage internal qualitative research studies: collaborate with studios and recruiters for concept testing, marketing asset testing, and playtesting.
- Lead CRM survey projects: work with team members and stakeholders to design, develop, and field surveys to our CRM database, from inception to debrief.
- Develop topical research projects: identify and develop opportunities in collaboration with teams to inform the business on industry key areas.
- Explore new tools and approaches: evaluate methodologies and tools to enhance the team’s research capabilities.
- Advocate for research: promote research literacy across the business, build relationships, and maximize insights impact.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2-3 years in consumer research, with experience in qualitative and quantitative methods.
- Experience in mixed-method research, including survey and discussion guide design, recruitment, and data analysis.
- Experience with syndicated data platforms, including cross-tabulation.
- Proficiency in creating insights-driven, visually engaging PowerPoint presentations.
- Effective in presenting findings to diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to understand stakeholder requirements and objectives.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Business Management, or relevant field.
