The Venue
Vaillant Live is a cutting-edge events complex with a capacity of up to 3,500 people. It is designed to host a variety of events, including large corporate conferences, exhibitions, trade shows, major touring concerts, stand-up comedy, family performances, and sporting events. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a brand-new venue from the ground up.
About The Role
We’re looking for a proactive, hands-on Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our Estates team. If you’re a multi-skilled technician with a solid grasp of building services and a “can-do” attitude, this role is for you.
You’ll support the delivery of maintenance and lifecycle services across the venue—getting stuck into everything from repairs and general upkeep to painting, decorating, and working with HVAC and BMS systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and reactive fabric maintenance, including painting, decorating, and general DIY, to meet service levels and maintain venue standards.
- Support operational needs, such as internal moves, equipment handling, and safe storage of materials.
- Ensure compliance and accurate record-keeping for all planned, reactive, and H&S-related maintenance activities.
- Maintain a safe and orderly work environment, following all health & safety procedures, wearing appropriate PPE, and keeping plant/storage areas secure and clean.
- Collaborate effectively with ASM staff, subcontractors, and venue teams, fostering strong working relationships and clear communication
We are looking for someone with
- Formal training in fabric maintenance, with experience using HVAC and BMS systems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused attitude
- Calm under pressure, confident in decision-making, and physically fit (able to lift up to 25kg)
- A reliable, flexible team player with a proactive, self-starting approach
- Comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels across the ASM team and venue
Please note this role will require late nights and weekend working
