Description
Permanent contract, 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. To contribute to the Department’s aim to provide high-quality learning and assist in the development, organization, and delivery of the curriculum. To lead the design and delivery of high-quality personal development projects aligned with Bath College’s USP (Universal, Specialist, and Personal) themes, supporting learners’ wider development, employability, and engagement beyond their main qualification.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, inclusive, and contextualized project-based learning sessions across Levels 1–3.
- Design and adapt project briefs that are sector-relevant, challenging, and engaging.
- Produce schemes of work, lesson plans, learning materials, and related activities to enhance learning effectiveness.
- Plan and deliver specialist acting sessions using appropriate teaching methods, embedding diversity promotion within the performing arts industry and the College.
- Coordinate and maintain records of students’ learning and progress.
- Work proactively to support the success and vision of the department.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
- Experience working with young people aged 16-19 in mentoring or tutoring roles.
- Safeguarding & Prevent Level 1 certificate or willingness to obtain it.
- Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards it.
- GCSE grade C or above in English and Maths or equivalent.
- A commitment to maintaining professional knowledge and improving capabilities.
