On behalf of our Public Services client, we are currently recruiting a Class 2 HGV Driver to operate specified vehicles in connection with waste collection, recycling and street cleansing services.Benefits include

Duties include

  • Completing collection schedules on a daily basis
  • Carry out vehicle checks including fuel, oil, water & tyres
  • Responsible for the general upkeep of vehicles
  • Reporting vehicle damage, breakdowns and accidents

Essential Criteria

  • Valid Cat C driving licence
  • Valid and up to date CPC driver card
  • Valid Digital Tachograph card
  • Ability to demonstrate ability to read and understand written instructions
  • Minimum 1 years relevant experience driving a Category C vehicle including manual working and record keeping
