Overview

Class 1 Driver Lincoln

Location: LN6, Lincoln

Pay: £15.28 per hour (PAYE)

After 12 weeks: Pay rise + Overtime up to £24.50

Days: Monday to Friday

Start Time: 0700

Shift Length: 812 hours

Work Type: Store, RDC & Depot Deliveries

We are currently recruiting professional Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for a well-established logistics client based in Lincoln. This is an opportunity offering weekday work, clean box-trailer driving, and an enhanced pay structure after 12 weeks.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering goods to retail stores, RDCs, and distribution depots
  • Operating box trailer articulated vehicles
  • Completing trunking, store deliveries, and depot-to-depot runs
  • Ensuring all PODs and delivery paperwork are completed accurately
  • Carrying out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
  • No handball clean, organised Class 1 work

Hours & Pay

  • Monday to Friday work
  • Start times between 0700-0730
  • 812 hour shifts
  • £15.28 per hour PAYE
  • After 12 weeks: pay rise + overtime up to £24.50
  • Weekly pay every Friday

Requirements

  • Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence
  • Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
  • Previous Class 1 Driving Experience Preferred
  • Experience delivering to stores or RDCs desirable
  • Maximum 6 points (no DR, DD, IN)
  • Safety boots & hi-vis
