Overview
Skanska, one of the worldβs leading project development and construction groups, is an inclusive and responsible business that is helping to build a better society. We are looking for a Water Systems Operative to join our Building Services team located at the Royal Derby Hospital. You will carry out a wide range of testing and monitoring of the site water systems, including mechanical/plumbing repairs, planned preventive maintenance, and new work to a high standard. You will work on your own initiative alongside PPM / Zetasafe schedules.
What you\βll do
- Monitor and record water systems data using various platforms, especially Zetasafe.
- Resolve problems where possible and repair water systems plant and equipment within the specified times.
- Carry out planned preventive maintenance on plant and equipment within area of competence, complying with statutory and contractual obligations.
- Promote cooperation and versatility among the trades within your operational area and scope of works.
What you\βll bring to the role
- Water system specific training (HTM/L8 etc) and relevant industry experience.
- Some knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and some knowledge of COSHH.
