You\âll create engaging and relevant content for distribution by a variety of social and digital media channels, and sometimes for print. Youâll support our Community Engagement Lead to market our programme of events and creative activities, helping us to find effective ways to reach the right people. Youâll also capture imagery and create content that documents the wide range of activities that happen at our Swansea High Street venue.
Period: August â October 2025
Payment: ÂŁ12.60 per hour. Minimum of 6 hours per week..

Responsibilities
âDesign image-led content for social media.
âDesign and order printed flyers/posters.
âTake photographs or video of events for use on social media.
âObtain Welsh translation of English content.
âCreate a monthly âWhatâs Onâ calendar.
Requirements
âYou can work independently and as part of a team.
âYou have excellent attention to detail.
âYou have strong written and verbal communication skills.
âYou have a demonstrable experience or interest in creating content (e.g. video, audio, graphic design, photography).
âYou regularly use social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter.
âYou enjoy talking to people in the community about their experiences.
Volcano is an independent theatre production company that also runs a diverse inner-city arts centre in a large former supermarket building in Swansea High Street. Our mission is to be Swanseaâs radical catalyst for a confident, healthy, and creative culture in Wales. We produce groundbreaking original work and distinctive adaptations, and we run, host and support a broad programme of creative and community activities.
