The Opportunity
We\’re looking for a Construction Manager – EC&I to lead electrical and instrumentation installation works on a major chemical project in Hull. This is your chance to play a vital role in the successful execution of a large-scale construction project, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule are all met across EC&I activities.

Salary– up to £85,000 +Travel allowance
Hours – 40 hours per week, on site

Your duties and responsibilities will be

  • Oversee the safe execution of all EC&I scopes of work
  • Conduct site inspections and HSE audits to ensure high safety standards
  • Collaborate with engineers, managers, and subcontractors to meet project timelines
  • Assist in budget tracking, cost control, and contract compliance
  • Manage change orders and contribute to the preparation of daily/weekly/monthly reports
  • Attend project meetings, providing updates and input on EC&I progress
  • Coordinate closely with the procurement/materials team to ensure timely resource delivery
  • Identify and mitigate risks or delays across the EC&I scope
  • Support and guide EC&I teams, maintaining clear communication and alignment with all trades

It’s great if you also have the following

  • Proven experience in construction or maintenance involving EC&I systems
  • Strong knowledge of Completions activities and safety processes
  • Relevant trade qualifications and/or Completions Systems training
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Competence in Microsoft Office and database systems
  • Self-motivated and organised, with a strong focus on deadlines and delivery
