We Are Hiring

  • Department:Sleep Lab
  • Schedule:PRN. Night shift.

What You Will Do

Perform basic and advanced diagnostic sleep studies.

  • Prepare patient and equipment for testing. Interview patient to determine sleep disorder issues and explain testing procedures.
  • Perform and document testing. Monitor patient throughout testing and intervene as necessary to resolve patient needs or equipment issues.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret patient information to identify and meet patient-specific needs; score, interpret, and report results of sleep studies.
  • Prepare, calibrate, repair, and maintain equipment required for testing. Determine and report needed repairs or replacements.

What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • One or more of the following required:
    • Certificate as a Polysomnographic Technologist from the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Respiratory Therapist specializing in Registered credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Registered Polysomnographic Technician credential from the BRPT obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Sleep Technician credential from the American Board of Sleep Medicine (ABSM) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent with 2 years of cumulative experience OR an Associate\’s degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.

Additional Preferences

BLS required. RPSGT preferred but not required. Experience in a sleep lab is preferred.
