We are a leading, family-owned, contract manufacturer and packer of speciality chemicals, operating from a purpose-built facility in Cambridgeshire. Currently looking to continue and accelerate our ongoing growth, we are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Sales Manager to help us grow our own brand market as well as maximising our contract chemical manufacturing and packing services.
BASIC SALARY: £40,000 – £50,000

JOB DESCRIPTION: Sales Manager, Business Development Manager – Manufacturing, Chemicals
As the Sales Manager your key responsibility is to grow our revenue across our entire portfolio. That said we would like a keen focus on our own brand products. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will make up a crucial part of our senior management team and act as a sounding board on all key business development, marketing, account management strategies.
As our Sales Manager, you will also:
· Build and Maintain relationships with our current key clients, through effective account management
· Develop and implement a marketing strategy for the business
· Oversee and manage all new business opportunities and activities
· Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities, sales performance & Market trends etc.

Ultimately you will have already been a successful salesperson with a desire and drive to do more, you may have come from a marketing background but want to get closer to the action. You could be looking for a step up from an Account Manager, Business Development, Marketing Executive, Area Sales, Technical Sales or Internal Sales position. We are looking for someone who achieves above the normal requirements and enjoys playing an active role in the business, someone who is driven by their love for Sales and uses data to influence and aid your decisions. You will be enthused by variation and wearing many business development hats.
It would be ideal if you have worked in a chemical manufacturing environment but ultimately the right person with the right attitude and drive is the most important thing.
