We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our experienced team of education lecturers within the Education department at UCB.

We are offering a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about academia, inspiring students, and actively participating in our vibrant academic community. The successful applicant will support teaching and learning across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes within the department of education ranging from levels 4 – 7.

This is a full-time position leading the delivery of high-quality, innovative, inspiring, and inclusive learning opportunities for students in the field of education.

Are you an experienced education practitioner with a passion for teaching and learning and eager to elevate the learning experience for aspiring professionals? Do you have experience teaching in higher education and have an ability to deliver creative sessions? If so, this role is perfect for you!

The role is ideal for practitioners with a strong foundation in evidence-based practice and a background in education from a variety of roles.

You will take part in enhancing understanding of key pioneering educational concepts, cultivate research and analytical skills, support students in conducting independent research projects and broaden access to higher education for learners from diverse educational backgrounds. The role will involve designing innovative learning activities that reflect current practice, working closely with students and staff in different roles to support students in developing their academic and professional identities.

At UCB you will have access to a range of facilities, including education specialist rooms, teaching rooms, lecturer theatres, immersive suites etc. You will teach in modern, well-equipped facilities that enhance both teaching and learning experiences for you and your students.
