A well-established and fast-growing business based in High Wycombeis looking for an experienced and capable Operations Manager to take ownership of its warehouse and logistics operations.
Reporting directly to the Operations Director, this is a senior and hands-on position responsible for leading teams, driving performance, and playing a strategic role in scaling the operation to support future growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Warehouse and Logistics Managers, ensuring strong team performance
- Take ownership of operational KPIs across both functions (e.g. accuracy, delivery, efficiency)
- Ensure full compliance with health & safety and other operational standards
- Provide direct management cover during absence or leave within the warehouse or logistics teams
- Lead recruitment and onboarding for senior roles within the operations department
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process enhancements
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure aligned and efficient operations
- Support the Operations Director with data-driven insight and strategic input
- Play an active role in optimising operations as the business scales
Essential skills:
- Proven experience in a similar Operations Manager role
- Strong background in managing warehouse and logistics functions
- Experience in distribution essential
- Skilled at managing through others while staying connected to day-to-day operations
- Demonstrable success in improving team performance and achieving KPIs
- 7.30am-4.30pm Monday to Friday
