Industrial Automation Repair Engineer, Telford (Hybrid)
We’re looking for an experienced engineer with a solid background in automation and drive systems to join our team in Telford. This hybrid role includes hands-on repair work in our workshop and occasional field service visits across the UK.
You’ll work on industrial products like VSDs, servo drives, and PLCs, stripping down units, repairing, testing, and helping customers keep operations running.
What you’ll do
- Repair Schneider Electric products including VSDs, soft starters, servo drives and motors.
- Handle warranty return diagnostics and technical reporting.
- Visit customer sites to support repairs, upgrades, and audits.
- Manage inbound/outbound logistics, documentation, and internal service records.
- Use SAP and internal tools to track repairs, service orders, and customer updates.
What you bring
- At least 3 years of experience in automation, electronics repair or field service.
- Strong understanding of industrial systems (VSDs, PLCs, robotics).
- Previous experience with Schneider, Siemens or Rockwell systems.
- Hands-on experience working on 415V systems.
- UK driving licence and full right to work in the UK.
