We are looking for an efficient and detail-oriented Billing Analyst to join our Bank Branding Team. The Billing Analyst will interpret and implement contract terms, manage customer relations (internal and external), prepare monthly reports, and handle administrative and data management tasks to ensure accurate and timely invoicing. The role also involves reconciling monthly invoice entries with the company ERP General Ledger System.
Location: Dundee (Hybrid)
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Interpret and input contract terms to onboard new contracts and amendments into billing systems
- Update contract billing terms within the billing system
- Ensure customer account and banking details are correctly set up according to contract terms
- Prepare and deliver monthly reports and data analysis
- Support the timely completion of the monthly billing process
- Review and document variances month over month
- Audit contract terms within billing systems
- Work with the Billing Manager and Accounts Receivable team for invoice verification
- Coordinate with internal teams and customers to obtain billing information, resolve issues, and clarify discrepancies
- Research and correct billing discrepancies
- Assist with invoice reconciliation for month-end accounting
- Maintain control logs for contract changes and invoice corrections
- Participate in audit procedures and respond to audit requests
- Contribute to process development and documentation within the team
- Perform special projects and analysis as needed
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in contract management, billing, or accounts receivable
- College coursework in accounting; a bachelor’s degree is a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Experience with Power Query, Power BI, and Access is a plus
- ERP system experience (e.g., Oracle) is a plus
- Self-starter with problem-solving skills
- Ability to process large data volumes accurately and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
- Effective communication with cross-functional teams and management
- Ability to meet deadlines and work flexible hours as needed
